Abstract

Kristine A. Wolberg draws striking parallels between the theological work of C.S. Lewis and seventeenth-century pastor and poet George Herbert in terms of each author’s respect for the seemingly superficial practices of medieval courtesy, which Lewis and Herbert both unveil as holding rich significance and deep import for spiritual formation.
