Author Biography

  • Carrie Care

    As a grant writer, administrator, and fundraiser, Carrie Care has worked with several nonprofit organizations across the country to tell the stories of their important work in order to attract vital funding. Her experience also includes development and marketing initiatives at Opera New Jersey and Colorado State University. She holds a Grant Professional Certification from the Grant Professional Certification Institute and a Fundraising Certificate from the Support Center for Nonprofit Management.

    Carrie has served on nonprofit boards and has been a presenter at the European Sociological Association Conference. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Music from Elizabethtown College (PA). Carrie and her husband live in Fort Collins, Colorado, enjoying the sunshine, outdoors, and music, but most of all watching their two young kiddos learn and grow.
